Hanuman Temple

102 feet height sky-break marvelous Abhaya Anjaneya statue is located at Hanuman Temple; Agara village comes under Bangalore South taluk of Bangalore district in the state of Karnataka, India.
Gigantic sculpture is standing on a Lotus pedestal situated on 24th Main Sarjapur Outer Ring Road at Southern Region of Bangalore city.
This temple is popular among the local residents from Agara, Madiwala (or Madivala) & HSR Layout area and is visited by hundreds of devotees every day. The statue is on the road side and visible from quite a distance so many more just have darshan from the road and pay their homage while passing by the road.
Relative size of the statue can be estimated from the adjacent multi-storey building.
There is a lake situated close to the village known as ‘Agara Lake’. It is spread across an area of about 98 acres. The lake is a picturesque spot in season where several species of migratory birds can be seen nesting and breeding. There is a beautiful park located at one end of the lake.

Alakhnath Temple

51 feet height gigantic statue of Lord Hanuman is located at Alakhnath Temple (Lord Shiva Temple); Bareilly under Bareilly district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
Mandir Shri Baba Alakhnath Ji is the headquarters of Anand Akhara order of Dashanam Naga sannyasis [Taponidhi Shri Panchayati Anand Akhara (or Akhada)]. Members of this order of Shiva devotees are also known as Naga Babas (or Bavas).
Alakha Nath temple complex has a large courtyard in the centre and inside the complex there are many buildings too. Here you will see many small and large shrines, some of these are within the building and some shrines are located outside the building.
Upon visiting the temple complex, one see devotees going from one shrine to the other and offer prayers to the God. Various animals are also seen roaming inside the temple premises. One can see cows and goats in one corner of the temple complex and a camel behind the complex too.
To get there from the station you flag down a taxi (of sorts), a cross between a jeep and an auto-rickshaw. It's only five rupees to the Alakha Nath temple because this vehicle picks up other passengers along the way.

Shree Bhurakhiya Hanumanji Mandir

One of the most popular Lord Hanuman temple in Gujarat is Shree Bhurakhiya Hanumanji Mandir located at Bhurakhiya village in Lathi taluka belongs to Amreli district comes under Saurashtra region in state of Gujarat, India.
It is located about 35 kms from the district head quarters Amreli and around 10 kms from the taluka head quarters Lathi.
Saint Shri Damodardasji along with local villagers built this temple in year 1585. The saint thought of name “Bhurakhia” to signify that the Lord will protect and prosper (Rakshya) the land (Bhu) around and its people. Over the passage of time “Bhurakshya” popularly became “Bhurakhia (Bhurakhiya)”. The Lord was affectionately called “Bhurakhia Dada” and "Bhurakhia Hanuman”.
After four hundred and thirty years, millions of believers in various parts of the country and outside who follow & pray the Lord and seek his blessings. What was a small temple earlier has now become a large complex with a large shrine in the centre and lodging & boarding facilities around it.
Thousand of devotees visit the temple regularly particularly on Chaitri Poonam (Hanuman Jayanti day) as well as on Saturday and Tuesday every week.

Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Temple

Two big sculptures of Lord Anjaneya swamy are located at Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Temple; Kondagattu village belongs to Mallial (or Malliyal) mandal comes under Jagtial district in the Indian state of Telangana.
It is situated at a distance of 2 kms from Kondagattu Bus Stand, 14 kms from Jagtial Bus Station, 35 kms from Karimnagar and 178 kms from state capital city Hyderabad.
The Panchmukha Anjaneya and Hanuman Veera idols are attractive colorful and very big in size that develop devotion in the heart of Lord Hanuman devotees. Panchamukha Anjaneya idol is situated above the shrine which resembles like a tomb on the temple. Stairs have been provided to help visitors go up to view the statue from close quarters.
This is one of the most famous temples in Telangana located in the lap of beautiful hills, breathtaking valleys and refreshing water springs the hamlet Kondagattu is blessed by nature with scenic surroundings. The temple has a breathtaking view surrounded by caves, Rayuni fort and bojja potana on its north that offers a pleasant holiday spot.
According to folklore, the temple was constructed by a cowherd about 300 years ago. The cowherd, after losing one of his buffalo, came to this hilly area while searching for it. He soon fell into deep sleep after a tiresome search. It is believed that Lord Anjaneya Swamy appeared in his dream and told him the whereabouts of the lost buffalo. When cattle graze woke up to start searching in the instructed direction, he found an enlightening idol of Anjaneya Swamy. He then built a small temple for Lord Anjaneya at current location.
Devotees believe that people who do not have children, when offer puja for 40 days at this temple, then they will be blessed with a child.

Shree Rokadia Hanuman Mandir

Shree Rokadia Hanuman Mandir is located at Porbandar coastal city belongs to Porbandar district in the Indian state of Gujarat. It is located on Saurashtra's western coast and was an important trading harbor during Jethwa’s rule.
Porbandar is perhaps best known for being the birthplace of Sudama, the friend of Lord Krishna during his Balyam (youth) hence it is also known as “Sudamapuri”. Sudama Mandir is built in the very spot where Sudama was born in Porbandar.
Although Bhagwan Shri Krishna is worshiped widely in Gujarat, Shree Hanumanji is also in worship this region. Shree Hanuman and His son Makardhwaj is worshiped in Gujarat together here. The worship of these two deities was prominent during the rule of Jethwa clan. Jethwa’s are descendents of Makardhwaj therefore of Shree Hanuman also.
Shree Hanuman of this place got this name since he answers to the prayers quickly (in Gujarati ‘Rokadia’ means immediately). Nearly twenty five years back a new huge deity of Shree Hanumanji was installed.

Ayyappa Swamy Temple

Two big statues of Lord Anjaneya Swamy are located at Ayyappa Swamy Temple; Dwarapudi village belongs to Mandapeta mandal comes under East Godavari district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located about 46 kms from the district head quarters Kakinada and around 20 kms from Rajahmundry.
Tall Panchmukha and tearing chest depicted Anjaneya Swamy idols are attractive colorful and very big in size that develop devotion in the heart of Lord Hanuman devotees.
This temple is next to Sabarimala Ayyappa Swamy temple of Kerala. In Sabarimala Shasta temple, the worshipers have to follow divine formalities which are both traditional and mandatory, whereas in Dwarapudi Ayyappa Swamy temple no such customs are prevalent. That is why devotees of all ages prefer to worship in Dwarapudi Ayyappa Swamy temple for the blessings of Lord Shasta. Hence the people of Andhra Pradesh call this temple as “Andhra Sabarimala”.
Panchaloha idol of temple present deity Lord Ayyappa was installed in the temple in 1989. Devotees need to climb 18 holy steps, similar to Sabarimala, to reach the main shrine. The temple complex is built in four floors and comprises of huge attractive shrines highlighted by architectural works and divine sculptures. It is believed that the negative influence of Lord Shani (Saturn) in horoscope can be kept away by worshipping in Dwarapudi temple.
The major tourist attractions of Dwarapudi Ayyappa temple are huge statues of Hindu Gods. Notable among them include Shri Harihara (Vishnu-Shiva), Lord Nataraja, Shiva Lingam, Nandi and others are found in the temple compound.

Shri Advait Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir

Shri Advait Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir is located at Shri Kainchi Dham, Param Pujya Baba Shri Neeb Karori Ji Ashram P.O. Kainchi Dham belongs to Nainital district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand.
Kainchi is a place at an altitude of 1400 meters above sea level situated at a distance of 9 kms from Bhowali and 17 kms from the district head quarters Nainital on Almora-Nainital Road.
It is a modern pilgrim centre that has achieved recognition owing to the ashram of famous Neeb Karori Baba (or Neem Karoli Baba), also known to his followers as Maharaj-ji.
Kainchi is a term used for two sharp hairpin bends of the motor road (U-shaped bend in a road) in local dialect hence the name. It has no relation with scissors.
It was some time in 1962 when Maharajji came in Kainchi village and asked for the construction of a chabootara (rectangular platform). Hanuman temple is built over it. His devotees started coming from different places and a chain of bhandaras, kirtans, bhajans started.
Pran-Pratishtha of Lord Hanuman idol and other deities were performed on 15th June in different years. Thus, 15th June is celebrated as Pratishtha Divas every year when a large number of devotees reportedly, more than one lakh people come to Kainchi Dham and blessed.
Accordingly some changes have been made in the whole complex so that people do not face any difficulty in movement.

Sree Ramar Temple

Biggest idol of Sree Viswaroopa Anjaneyar at Sree Ramar Temple is located on 51 Changi Village Road in the east coast of Singapore (out of India).
Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, and often referred to as the “Lion City” or “Little Red Dot”, is a sovereign city-state in Southeast Asia, and the world's only island city-state.
Sree Rama Mandir is a Hindu temple dedicated to Bhagwan Sree Ram, who is the presiding principal deity with Devi Sita and Veer Lakshman.
There is a great attraction to see the “Thirumanjanam” of Big Anjaneya idol on Hanuman Jayanti occasion. Thirumanjanam means holy bath. On Aani Thirumanjanam day when Uthram Nakshtram falls in Aani month an Abhishekam is performed. The Abhishekam or holy bath of the idol is performed during the twilight period (Pradosham) on the day is considered highly auspicious.
Thirumanjanam is very importantly made of "Nava Pashana" and applied on idol with special preparations mainly to extract the medicinal benefits of such Vigrahas.
Before applying items like milk, fruit-mix, honey etc, the statue is cleaned with oil, soap-nut, turmeric etc.
Nava Pashana is believed to be an amalgam of nine minerals-Veeram, Pooram, Rasam, Jathilingam, Kandagam (Sulphur), Gauri Pasanam, Vellai Pasanam, Mridharsingh and Silasat.

Sri Veer Hanuman Temple

Sri Veer Hanuman Temple is located at Port Blair city belongs to South Andaman district in Andaman and Nicobar Islands union territory of India.
Andaman and Nicobar Islands, one of the seven union territories of India, are a group of islands at the juncture of Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea.
Port Blair is the capital of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Sri Anjeneyar Temple

Sri Anjeneyar (Hanuman) Temple is located at Batu 5, Jalan Pantai belongs to Port Dickson district in Negeri Sembilan state of Malaysia (out of India).
Port Dickson is a beach resort destination situated about 90 kms south from Kuala Lumpur and 30 kms away from Seremban. Also called 'PD' by locals, this popular holiday retreat is located within easy reach from Kuala Lumpur (simply KL) and Singapore by major highways and roads.
Sri Anjeneyar Temple (or Sri Anjaneyar Alayam) is famous for the Hanuman deity who is said to have turned and faced the sea! This Hanuman idol though installed straight has somehow turned to the side (its left) facing the seaside (observe the face of the idol).
Legends say that Lord Hanuman turned his face to the sea. There is even proof that the Lord Hanuman's statue really turned. A British tourist once came to this temple many years ago and took a photograph of Lord Hanuman’s statue. It was facing straight. Few years later, when this same British tourist came and took photos he was shocked to see that The Lord’s Statue now faces the sea. It was really moved.

Chandigarh is a city and a union territory of India that serves as the capital of Indian states of Punjab and Haryana. As a union territory, the city is governed directly by the Union Government and is not part of either state.

Shri Anjani Mata Mandir

Shri Anjani Mata Mandir is located at Juliasar; Salasar belongs to Sikar district in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
Salasar is famous for Salasar Balaji Dham, one of the most visited Lord Hanuman temples in Rajasthan, situated on National Highway-65.
Anjani or Anjana was the wife of Vanara King Kesari and mother of Lord Hanuman. The temple main deity is Mata Anjani holding her son Bal Hanuman. Here, Devi Anjani’s image is Char Bhuja Dhari.
Visiting Shri Salasar Balaji Mandir, it is a great idea to visit Mata Anjani’s temple which is roughly 1 km from the main Salasar Balaji temple.
If you are coming through the Laxman Gate, Mata Anjani's temple will come in the way and you can take the blessings first here and then proceed further. However if you come from Sita Dwar, then you can do darshan in the main Salasar Balaji temple and then take the route out to the main Bikaner-Agra Road through this temple.
The route above is car/vehicle route otherwise if you are travelling by foot then there is another straight route which you can ask from anyone over there.
This temple attracts innumerable Indian worshipers throughout the year.

Shri Hanuman Dham

Shri Hanuman Dham is located at Anjani Gram; Chhoi village belongs to Ramnagar tehsil under Nainital district in the Indian state of Uttarakhand. It is situated 5 kms away from the sub-district headquarter Ramnagar and 59 kms away from the district headquarter Nainital.
Life amid nature is blissfully peaceful and tranquil providing the perfect atmosphere to meditate, explore and introspect. Hanuman Dham, located amidst the serene surrounding of majestic Himalayan Valley, is one such destination. The easily accessible location and breathtaking scenic beauty of the place is equally matched by the magnificent architecture of the Dham.
The arched gateway to the temple has been aesthetically designed and the depiction of two fishes on the gateway symbolizes fortune and prosperity. Shikhars have been constructed in a hierarchical manner on ornate columns so as to give it a majestic Chhatri type appearance.

Shri Veer Hanuman Temple

Shri Veer Hanuman Dham is located on the top of Samod Parvat near Samod village belongs to Chomu tehsil under Jaipur district in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
Shri Samod Balaji Temple also called Shri Veer Hanuman Temple is situated roughly 5 kms from taluka headquarters Chomu and nearly 30 kms from the district headquarters Jaipur.
There are two options to reach at the temple. First is Samod Palace route, a little longer as you will have to cover 3 hillocks and a couple of valleys. Other is Khole side route, the path is shorter but needs more stamina to climb long stair path.
50 meters before the temple, lays a beautiful water tank for bathing known as Kund. Devotees can take a holy dip in it and then climb stairs to the temple on Hill top.
The temple hosts the deity of Lord Hanuman Ji covered with sindoor. Here, large no. of devotees sitting and chanting Hanuman Chalisa.
The nearest railway station is Chomu which is roughly 5 kms away from Samod. One can take a taxi to reach Samod from Chomu. Bus connectivity between Jaipur and Chomu is very good; you may get buses at every 5 minutes of duration.

Anjaneya Swamy Temple

Biggest statue of Lord Panchamukha Anjaneya is located at Panchamukha Anjaneya Swami Temple; Piduguralla town belongs to Guntur district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.
It is located at a distance of 68 kms from the district head quarter Guntur on Hyderbad-Guntur State Highway No-2. The south central railway line from Guntur to Hyderabad (via) Nadikudi passes through this town.
Piduguralla is also known as “Lime City of Andhra Pradesh” as lime stone of rich quality is abundantly available in the surrounding area.
The origin of Shri Panchamukhi Hanuman can be traced to the story in Ramayan. During Ram-Ravan war in Lanka, Ravan took help of Ahiravan, the King of Patal Lok. Hanuman in order to protect Lord Shri Ram and Lakshman formed a fortress with his tail. Ahiravan took the form of Vibhishan-the noble brother of Ravan and took sleeping Bhagwan Shri Ram & Lakshman to Patal Lok (nether world).
Hanuman entered Patal-Puri in search of Lord Shri Ram and Lakshman. He found that life of Ahiravan was hidden in the five lamps which were kept in different directions.
Ahiravan could be killed only by extinguishing five lamps kept in different directions all at the same time (simultaneously). To accomplish this task Lord Hanuman took the form of Panch-Mukha Hanuman with faces of Hayagriva, Narasimha, Garuda and Varaha are the four other faces along with own's face.
God Hanuman using the five faces in different directions blows air to extinguish the lamps there by killing Ahiravan and rescued Bhagwan Shri Ram & Lakshman.
After Ahiravan was vanquished, God Shri Ram asked Hanuman to crown Makardhwaj as a King of Patal-Puri [Shree Makardhwaj was son of Lord Hanuman who looks like half Makara (crocodile) and half Vanara (monkey)].

Sri Veera Anjaneya Temple

Tallest sculpture of Lord Veera Anjaneya is situated at Sri Veera Anjaneya Temple on Road Number 2, KPHB (Kukatpally Housing Board Colony) Phase I, Kukatpally area of Hyderabad city in the Indian state of Telangana.
Kukatpally is a major residential and commercial suburb in Medchal district of Telangana state. It is located on the northwest fringe of Hyderabad city.
Kukatpally Housing Board Colony developed by Andhra Pradesh Housing Board is considered to be the biggest colony in India and Asia. KPHB Colony has highest population density in the state of Telangana.
Kukatpally is well connected to most locations of the city by the state-owned bus service TSRTC (Telangana State Road Transport Corporation).
There is a bright and colorful look of the statue in late evening at temple.

Shri Siddh Mateshwari Anjani Dham Mandir is located at Chhitapar village belongs to Jabalpur district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.

Nattika Sree Hanuman Swamy Temple

Nattika Sree Hanuman Swamy Temple is located at Nattika village belongs to Thrissur (Trichur) district in the South Indian state of Kerala.
It is centrally located about 25 kms from Thrissur, Kodungallur, Irinjalakuda, Kunnamkulam and Guruvayur. Nattika is beside the Arabian Sea. There is a beautiful beach in this village called Nattika Beach.
This is one of the rare exceptional worship places for Lord Hanuman in Kerala. Here the blessedness of three main deities-Lord Hanuman, Lord Mahavishnu Maya and Devi Bhagavathi visibly exist. People who visit this temple can feel the peculiar divine atmosphere prevailing here.

Manokamna Hanuman Mandir

Manokamna Hanuman Mandir is located at Darbhanga city belongs to Darbhanga district in the Indian state of Bihar.
This unique temple is situated in the area of Moti Mahal on bank of the pond in front of Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University. It is elevated above seven feet from ground level on bandstand (Chabutara) and constructed from white Sangemarmar marbles. There is one pond behind the temple and one pond in front of the temple.
While people go to any Lord Hanuman temple to worship God with flowers, sweets and incense sticks but in this unique temple where devotees go to the temple with pen and pencil for writing as well. It is believed that Lord Hanuman fulfills wishes of devotees who write their desire on the wall’s of the temple so people call it Manokamna Hanuman Mandir.
The maintenance and supervision of this ancient temple is under the Kameshwar Singh Trust of Darbhanga. It is said that this temple was established by the King of Darbhanga-Maharaja Rameshwar Singh Bahadur. Today Darbhanga has several palaces that were built during the Darbhanga Raj era.
The temple has a small miniature size and the devotees have to bow down to get inside it however it is big for them whose wishes are completed. Folklore says that the King Rameshwar Singh had constructed this temple for his any relative, who was short in size.

Kadri Manjunath Temple

Tallest wel-come statue of Lord Hanuman is located on the top of Kadri Hills at Kadri Manjunath Temple; Mangalore (Mangaluru) city belongs to Dakshina Kannada district in the Indian state of Karnataka.
Kadri Shree Manjunatha Temple is situated just 4 kms away from the densely populated area of Mangalore in a rural atmosphere. This old and ancient temple is surrounded by a picturesque scene of natural beauty.
The temple of Manjunatheshwara (aka Lord Shiva) on the Kadri Hills is one of the most popular temples in Mangalore. It is said to be built during the 10th century. It was converted to a complete stone structure during the 14th century. The idol of Lord Manjunatha Swamy of the temple is called as oldest of the South Indian Temples.
It is believed that Parashuram (one of the Chiranjeevi of Hinduism) who was living in Sahyadri, killed the kshathriyas who were cruel and donated the lands to Kashyapa. He prayed to Lord Shiva for a place to live. Lord Shiva assured Parashuram that if he performed a penance at Kadali kshethra (Suvarna Kadali Van), Lord Shiva would reincarnate as Manjunatha.
As per Shiva's orders Parashuram threw his axe into the sea and created a place for his penance. Yielding to Parashuram's prayers Lord Shiva appeared to him as Manjunatha along with Goddess Parvati and stayed at Kadri for the betterment of the world.

Panchamuga Anjaneya Temple

36 feet height tallest Panchamukha Anjaneya principal idol is located at Panchamuga Anjaneya Temple; Panchavatee village near Pondicherry belongs to Vanur taluk under Viluppuram (Villupuram) district in the Indian union territory Puducherry.
It is situated just 9 kms away from Pondicherry on the highway leading to Tindivanam.
The temple has been constructed in 12 acres of land and the area where the temple is located is known as Panchavatee Kshetram. In the great Indian epic Ramayan, Panchavatee (Panchavati) was described as the forest area where Lord Ram, Devi Sita and Veer Lakshman spent some time as part of their exile.
In front of Panchamukha Sri Anjaneya’s shrine, there is a vessel filled with water which has a floating stone said to weigh about 14 kgs, which was one of the rocks used by Lord Ram’s Vaanar Sena (monkey army) to build the bridge across to Lanka.
Panchamukha Sri Anjaneya Swamy’s Vigraham (statue) was installed on 11th June 2003.

Anjani Hanuman Temple (Anjan Dham)

Anjani Hanuman Temple known as Anjan Dham is located at Anjan village belongs to Gumla block comes under Gumla district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. It is situated at a distance of 18 kms towards north from district head quarters Gumla via Toto.
The name of village has been derived from the Goddess Anjani, mother of Hanuman. Anjani Gufa is situated about 4 kms away from the village upon a Hill. Here, mother Anjani used to live and gave birth to Hanuman hence this place is known as the birth place of Lord Hanuman.
The murti worshipped in the temple is of Mother Anjani sitting with Bal Hanuman in her lap.
Many objects of archaeological importance obtained from the village have been placed in the Patna Museum.

Shri Hanuman Thakur Temple

Shri Hanuman Thakur Temple is located at Imphal city in the Indian state of Manipur.
It is situated on the banks of Imphal River among the groves Mahabali forest.
This unique and old temple enshrines a beautiful idol of Lord Hanuman in a Normal face (Human form), not in a Monkey face. The idol is carved out on a big slab of stone.
The historic temple was built by Manipur King Garib Niwaj in the year 1725.
The mandapam located in front of the temple has shadowed the structure of the main temple.
There is a beautiful bell tower in the complex and entrance of the temple is beautiful as well.
Shri Hanuman Thakur Temple is a memento of the RAMANANDI-SADHU cult of Hinduism in Manipur.

Shree Swayambhu Patali Hanuman Mandir

Shree Swayambhu Patali Hanuman Mandir is located at Mumbai in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is situated near famous Mahalaxmi Temple in South Mumbai.
This two hundred years old temple is called swayambhu means "self-manifested" appeared on its own and Patali means it came from below the earth. This temple is visited everyday by many devotees especially more on Saturday.
The name Mumbai is derived from Mumba or Maha-Amba-the name of the Patron Goddess (Kuladevi) Mumbadevi of the native Agri (salt collectors), Koli (fisherfolk) and Somvanshi Kshatriya communities-and ‘ai’ meaning "mother" in Marathi language.
15th century old Mumbadevi temple is Located at Bhuleshwar in South Mumbai just north of Crawford Market on Mumbadevi Road to the right from northern end of Zaveri Bazaar.

Maruti Temple

Maruti Temple dedicated to Hindu God Hanuman is located at Mala; Panjim (or Panaji) belongs to North Goa district in the Indian state of Goa.
It is situated approximately 33 kms from the state commercial capital Margao (or Madgaon) and about 26 kms from the Vasco da Gama (shortly Vasco).
This large orange color temple situated on Altinho Hill top is resplendently lit at night and affords pleasant view over the city’s Old Quarter from its verandah by day.
