36 feet height tallest Panchamukha Anjaneya principal idol is located at Panchamuga Anjaneya Temple; Panchavatee village near Pondicherry belongs to Vanur taluk under Viluppuram (Villupuram) district in the Indian union territory Puducherry.
It is situated just 9 kms away from Pondicherry on the highway leading to Tindivanam.
The temple has been constructed in 12 acres of land and the area where the temple is located is known as Panchavatee Kshetram. Panchamukha Sri Anjaneya Swamy’s Vigraham (statue) was installed on 11th June 2003.
