height sky-break marvelous Abhaya Anjaneya statue is located at Hanuman Temple;
Agara village comes under Bangalore South taluk of Bangalore district in the
state of Karnataka, India.
Gigantic
sculpture is standing on a Lotus pedestal situated on 24th Main
Sarjapur Outer Ring Road at Southern Region of Bangalore city.
This temple is
popular among the local residents from Agara, Madiwala (or Madivala) &
HSR Layout area and is visited by hundreds of devotees every day. The statue is
on the road side and visible from quite a distance so many more just have
darshan from the road and pay their homage while passing by the road.
Relative
size of the statue can be estimated from the adjacent multi-storey building.
There is a
lake situated close to the village known as ‘Agara Lake’. It is spread across
an area of about 98 acres. The lake is a picturesque spot in season where
several species of migratory birds can be seen nesting and breeding. There is a
beautiful park located at one end of the lake.
