Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir

Shri Panchmukhi Hanuman Mandir (Dhaka Basatiya Wala) is situated on the road coming from Bilaspur to Chhachhrauli, it is just 4 kms away from Bilaspur which comes under Yamuna Nagar district in the Indian state of Haryana.
It is believed that the five Pandavas visited this place and prayed to Lord Hanuman by creating his five faces. The premise of the temple has been greatly renovated during the recent years and has good facilities for the devotees.
Bilaspur and Kapal Mochan towns are located in the vicinity of Yamuna Nagar and are known for their mythological and historical significance. The Bilaspur town is named after Maharishi Ved Vyas, the writer of Mahabharat, who resided at the site and constructed a holy pond. It is supposed that there was an Ashram of Ved Vyas on the bank of a pond situated here.
Kapal Mochan is known for the ancient statue of Uma Mahadev that was constructed between the 9th or 10th century. It also has an old Ganesha statue which was made during the 11th or 12th century. Some of the historical remains of the Gupta dynasty can also be traced in this town which proves the antecedence of Kapal Mochan.
People come from all parts of the country feel spiritual elevated by taking bath here in Kunds (ponds) known as Rin Mochan Kund, Kapal Mochan Kund and Surya (or Suraj) Kund.
The five faces in Panchmukhi Hanuman are:-
(1) Sri Varaha facing the North
(2) Sri Narasimha facing the South
(3) Sri Garuda facing the West
(4) Sri Hayagriva facing the Sky (Atop) and
(5) His own (Hanuman) facing the East.
