height sky-high statue of Lord Hanuman is located at Bathinda city belongs to
Bathinda district in the Indian state of Punjab. Bathinda is in
northwestern India in the Malwa Region, 227 kms west of the capital
city of Chandigarh and is the fifth largest city of Punjab.
The tall
idol is situated at Hanuman Chowk in the premises of Lord Rama Public School on
Main Bazaar Road of the city.
Bathinda is known
by invaders as Tabar-e-Hind or Tabarhindh meaning the Gateway to
India.
