height tallest sculpture of Lord Hanuman is situated at Shri Shri Shri Hanuman
Park, Hanuman Temple; Kalimpong Hill station belongs to Kalimpong district in
the Indian state of West Bengal.
Hanuman Temple is located on Dello Hill (also known as Deolo Hill) just after the Durga
Mandir and about 8 kms from the Kalimpong town center. Big statue can be seen
from the road itself. You will need to climb several flights of stairs to reach
up to the temple which is at an elevation.
Kalimpong
means "Assembly (or Stockade) of the King's Ministers"
in Tibetan, derived from kalon ("King's
ministers") and pong ("stockade").
There are so
many lovely view points offering sweeping views of Kanchenjunga
& Chola range as well as of River Teesta flowing between the towering
mountains, great monasteries with awesome architectures, quaint temples,
sprawling tourist complexes, numerous flower nurseries, parklands and more.
