Big
principal idol of Lord Hanuman at Sankat Mochan Hanuman Mandir located in
Siyadevi Temple at Naragaon village belongs to Balod district in the Indian
state of Chhattisgarh.
It is
situated about 20 kms from the district headquarters Balod and 117 kms from the
state capital city Raipur.
Siyadevi
Temple is related with India’s Great Epic Ramayan. This is one of the places,
where Bhagwan Shri Ram, Goddess Sita and Veer Lakshman in Treta Yug lived
during their exile in Dandaranya.
Lord Shiva,
Goddess Parvati with Lord Ganesh and Nandi idols are also found just near the main
temple.
Sita Maiya’s
temple is situated in the heart of greenery natural jungles full of nature,
having beautiful waterfall and wildlife.
