Shree Kashtbhanjan Dev Hanumanji Mandir

One of the historic temple throughout the world is ‘Shree Kashtbhanjan Dev Hanumanji Mandir’ also known as ‘Salangpur Wale Hanuman’ located at Salangpur (or Sarangpur) village belongs to Barwala taluk under Botad district in the Indian state of Gujarat.
Story behind Shree Kashtbhanjan Dev Hanumanji Mandir :-
One time Aksharmukt Gopalanand Swami had arrived in a village of Botad. At that time the chief of Salangpur who was Vagha Khachar went to Botad to do darshan of Swami.
Gopalanand Swami asked him, “How is going Darbar? Are you happy or not?
At that time Vagha Khachar replied, “Oh Swami, we have two droughts (सूखा-अकाल). The first one being that for three years it hasn’t rained even once. Secondly, we do not have the darshan of great saints like you. In this way we have two droughts not one swami”, please do help us.
Then after going in deep meditation for a short while Swami spoke “Oh chief, what if we consecrate someone from which saints will always reside in your village?”, then you will have no problems.
In this way Swami showered (उदारतापूर्वक) great affection (प्रीति-प्रेम) upon the chief and gave the orders to make the idol of Lord Shree Hanumanji. In Samvat 1905 (in year 1848) Aaso vad pancham the idol was ready and with the Vedic rituals (अनुष्ठान) it was consecrated (प्रतिष्ठित).
Aksharmukt Yogiraaj Shri Gopalanand Swami after consecrating (प्रतिष्ठा) Lord Hanumanji idol at Sarangpur, has got rid (छुटकारा) millions of people’s troubles so called Kashtbhanjan Dev (Crusher of Sorrows- कष्ट-भंजन देव).
