102 feet height cloud talking sculpture of Lord Hanuman is situated at Hanuman Temple; Agara village belongs to Bangalore south taluka under Bangalore district in the Indian southern state of Karnataka. It is located on Outer Ring Road close to Koramangala and HSR Layout.
There is a popular ‘Agara Lake’ situated close to the Agara village. The history of Lake can be traced back to the 8th century. Evidence of the existence of Lake is found in historical documents related to the city of Bangalore. Till a few decades ago the lake was used for the purpose of irrigation and to provide drinking water to the people residing in Agara and surrounding villages.
Puri Jagannath’s temple is located next to the Hanuman temple, on the other side of the road, prominently visible from each other. These two temples are notable and popular in this area.
