40 feet height
sky-high sculpture of Rambhakt Hanuman is located at Lord Rama Temple; Ramadri
on Vizag-Bheemili Beach Road belongs to Visakhapatnam district in the Indian
state of Andhra Pradesh.
"Adri"
in Sanskrit means hill, Lord Rama temple is located at top of the Hill; hence it
is called Ramadri.
Bheemili (also known as Bheemunipatnam) Beach is located at the origin of the Gosthani
River, at a distance of about 45 kms from Visakhapatnam via Vizag-Bheemili
Beach Road.
The lighthouse dated
to 1868 was built during Dutch settlement on the shores of Bheemili Beach.
