Shri
Punrasar Hanumanji Dham, one of the notable Lord Hanuman temples in India, is located
at Punrasar town belongs to Bikaner district in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
Punrasar Balaji Temple is situated about 57 kms from Bikaner city on National
Highway No-11 and easily accessible by all weather roads.
This temple
is famously called Punrasar Baba Ka Mandir and has a very ancient history
of more than 300 years. This temple was established in the year 1718. Besides
the main temple, there is also an original statue of Hanumanji at the old tree
of Khejdi. At Khejdi, the ancient Hindu custom of Jhadula (or Baabari or
Mundan-cutting the hairs of new born children) takes place.
People come
from all over India and abroad to visit this temple and pray. Baba (God Hanuman)
